Programming the KX-TD30891 Caller ID/DISA/Fax Detection Card
DISA Programming
1. Program your DISA Auto Attendant using Program 815, DISA Built-in Auto Attendant.

Values may be: Extension number (11-18, 21-28); DISA External Pager (196), or Extension
Group (191 to 194, 291 to 294).
If Extension Group is used, Program 602 assigns Extension Groups (1 to 8) to Jacks and
Program 106 assigns Station
Hunting Type to Extension Groups (suggest RING for most applications).
2. Record your 16-second Out Going Message.
To record, dial 361 on your programming extension.
To listen, dial 362.
3. Program the DISA access method to be used:
a. DIL 1:1 Extension – Use programs 407 (Day) and 408 (Night) to select which CO
lines are connected to DISA
(Extension 198). Or,
b. Intercept Routing – Use program 409 (Day) and 410 (Night) to select which CO lines
transfer to DISA (extension
198). Set program 203 for the number of rings that must occur before DISA is accessed
(values are 3 to 48 rings).
Day/Night programming also requires the following:
Program 101 – Day/Night Service Switching Mode (Auto or Manual)
Program 102 – Day/Night Service Starting Time
If Manual switching is selected, the programming extension will have to manually set night
service by dialing 781
(set) or 780 (cancel). You may check the Day/Night status by pressing ‘#’ on the
programming extension.
c. Set your DISA Delayed Answer Time, Program 213 (values are 0-6 rings). Most
applications will be set to 0 rings.
Caller ID and FAX Extension Programming
a. Use Program 128 to set the one analog port that CO caller ID info will be passed to.
b. Use Program 129 to set the FAX transfer extension.
